Applications

Peculiar features of the XF series quick-release couplings are the high corrosion resistance, the very easy cleaning and the extremely low spillage during connection and disconnection operations. They are recommended to be used in aggressive environments (for example marine environment), in applications with corrosive or alimentary liquids and in applications where the leakage of the inside fluid may be dangerous for the environment and/or for the protection of the workers. For this reason the female part of these quick-release couplings has a safety sleeve against accidental disconnections. The XF series has low pressure drops and higher flow rates in comparison with traditional series.
The XF series is mainly used in industrial, chemical, petrochemical and naval plant.
