Applications

The swivel joints of the SJIN series are designed to be mounted between a movable flexible hose and a rigid component of a machine in order to allow and compensate rotations: the movement of the stem on his own axis prevents hose damages.
Compared with the standard SJ series, this kind of joints has the following peculiar features:

• a greater length to share in a better way the radial loads on the stem;
• a straight roller bearing on the stem to reduce friction during the rotation;
• a more complex rotating system;
• an easier disassembly/reassembly in case to replace of the seals.

Compared with the SJHD series, the SJIN series has these important advantages:

• the different and more complex rotating system increases performances;
• the easier disassembly/reassembly in case of replacement the seals;
• the balls can’t come out from their housing during the operations of disassembly and reassembly.

The swivel joints of the SJIN series are used in every productive sector where there are means, equipment or plant with moving flexible hoses working with high pressures inside and in adverse environment conditions like, for example, forestry machineries.
