Personnel Lifting Winches

This new range is designed to offer extra security in the event of personnel lifting applications. A drum brake offers the possibility of by-passing the input brake and over-rides any possible transmission failure. Our fail-safe ( normally closed) disc brake is enclosed internally in oil and resolves the problems experienced with open band-brakes. The brake is held closed with mechanical springs that allow rotation in the presence of the hydraulic oil control pressure.
